Louisiana REALTORS® seeks a Communication Manager

Louisiana REALTORS® is seeking a creative and motivated individual to join our team as the Communications Manager. The Communications Manager provides all around support to every aspect of the Association. The individual serves as the initial point of contact for media relations. They are responsible for working across all divisions to promote advocacy efforts, highlight member benefits and services and to be a gatherer of content for consistent member communications. They will support the strategies for social media engagement and the showcasing of major association events. The following provides an example of what tasks and skills we are looking for in the ideal candidate: 
- News release writing, establishing and building media relations, and storytelling

- Assist with social media news and promotions – digital marketing experience a plus 

- Compiling housing statistics and database management of membership and ability to manipulate data and identify target audiences

- Website updates, layout, and maintenance for and sites of affiliate organizations managed by LR 

- Write and edit content for publications and member communications

- Marketing and event support for major association events and education classes

- Photographing and capturing events

- Assist with printing coordination of collateral and marketing materials

-E-newsletter distribution and layout and some ability and understanding of standard graphic design principles 

- Work with staff and volunteers on committees, creation of presentations

- Ability to host virtual meetings, webinars, and produce and upload videos   

- Performs any other function or responsibility as assigned.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism or Marketing

- 1-3 years of related experience. 

- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite

- Ability to produce written content in varied formats to internal and external audiences.

- Must have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and ability to organize and manage time.
